A structured internal training programme is in place and every effort is made to promote from within the organisation. Vacancies are advertised internally in an open and visible manner. Relevant professional qualifications are supported and encouraged.
- Incentives and Bonus Scheme
There are performance related bonus schemes in place for appropriate roles and various incentives run throughout the year.
- Cycle to Work Scheme
We are registered with the government’s cycle to work initiative - Cyclescheme.
The scheme allows you large savings on the purchase of a new quality bike (you would need to intend to commute to work on it at least 50% of the time).
- Staff Functions
Historically there are two staff functions throughout the year, one during the summer and the other at Christmas time. This is an opportunity for all branches to get together and for Academy to say thank you to our employees for all their hard work and commitment through the year.
- Childcare Vouchers
Vouchers can be provided for payment of childcare which can be used with many forms of childcare i.e. childminders, day nurseries, holiday clubs and out of school schemes. Vouchers are non taxable and are not subject to NI contributions resulting in a saving of at least 22% on their net value. The vouchers can save a family more than £2,000 a year in childcare costs and can be used at any registered or approved provider of childcare for children up to 15 years of age (16 for those with disabilities).

An Essentials Plus package which also includes a number of discounts on products and services such as gym membership, holidays and cinema tickets.
You can elect to join the Company’s Stakeholder Pension Scheme funded from your own remuneration.
- Employee Discounts
Staff discounts are available on certain Insurance products; discounts are also available to family members.
